5K run/walk (3.1 miles) slightly up-hill at the beginning and end. Large loop including historic Main Street in South Boston, VA. Starts and finishes at the YMCA. There will be a water station 1.5 miles from the start. In addition, there will be post race refreshments.

N.C./VA Road Race 5K/15K
This event is just in the planning stages at the time. We will keep you updated as it progresses. The plan as of now is to make this a revival of the old N.C./VA Road Race 5K/15K that many of us old timers enjoyed in the 80's and 90's. The name of the race and the distances may be changed. The logistics of stageing a longer event such as a 15K on the road has changed in the last 15 or 20 years.
