Sign-in and registration 8:30-9:30am on event day. Please arrive early, if possible, to avoid lines.
Event begins promptly at 10am

The Riverwalk at Dan Daniels Park
302 River Park Drive, Danville, Virginia, 24540
Course Options:
Both course options follow the Riverwalk trail. Participants may choose to run and/or walk:
- 5k (3.1 mile) course beginning between mile markers E and F, extending to mile marker L and returning to the starting point
- 1 mile course beginning at mile marker E, extending to mile marker G and returning to the starting point
Post-Event Celebration:
After you have completed your course, return to the sign-in area for refreshments and awards. Both the team and individual participant who collect the most donations for the event will be recognized. Awards will be given to 5k winners in each age category (Male and Female) with prizes for overall winners. Age categories are as follows:
- 12 and under
- 13-15
- 16-18
- 19-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60+
Teams / Kids / Strollers / Dogs / iPods??
- Teams are not required, but are a fun option for groups of 3 or more. Pick a name and enter it on your registration form.
- Kids who are 12 years old and younger are welcome and not required to register - but can register if they’d like a race shirt and/or have their times scored.
- Strollers and Dogs are fine for walkers, but please line up towards the back rather than towards the front with the runners. Dogs must be restrained with collars/leashes.
- We are not restricting the use of iPods, MP3 players or headphones.
