The River District Festival will host it's second annual Family Adventure Race Saturday Oct. 5 12:00p.This event is themed for a fun family style atmosphere, with challenges that people of all ages can accomplish and enjoy.Distance will total less than 1.5 miles. The event will include five adventure points that will all contain a clue, puzzle, or activity for the group to complete before moving on to your next point. At each point, you will collect a piece to be turned in at the finish line.This is a team competition.Teams must consist of four or more participants. T-Shirts and Finisher medals for the first 100 finishers Awards will be presented on the Music Stage in the Community Market parking lot at 1:30. Check in and late entry will be at the YMCA & Get Fit table at the East End of Showcase Alley near the Community Market from 11:00 - 11:30 Family Adventure Race starts at 12:00pm Early entry forms may be picked up at the Danville Family YMCA. This is a free event sponsored by the Danville Regional Medical Center and the DRF.
