The Goodyear 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, March 31^st, at 9:00am with the same course as last year (ran mostly on the golf course cart path). This is our 5^th annual event. All proceeds will benefit the Danville/Pittsylvania County School System. For the first time, the Goodyear race will be a Danville Running Club points race. Goodyear will be giving away four sets of tires again this year, (one set to each overall male/female race winner, and two sets will be given away by drawing at the awards ceremony) along with many more door prizes. You must be present to win. Since this race will benefit the local school systems we will have a special entry fee rate for students ages 18 and younger, at a cost of $10.00 each. All other runners and walkers will be $20.00 for preregistration and $25.00 after March 24^th. So enter early.
