Cancelled!!!!!!!!!!! Too much snow.

This race is to celebrate Valentine's Day. Since Friday is not a good day to have a race we replaced the 14th with a 14K on Sat. the 15th. The race will begin at the old Ringgold Depot on the Ringgold Trail. We are  guaranteeing a PR for all participants who have not run this event before. The Ringgold Trail is on an old railroad bed with a fine crushed gravel coating. We hope this event will introduce more people to the trail and what a great place we have in the county to run, walk, and bike. This is a low key free event with refreshments (hot and cold), a few awards, and an opportunity to donate some support for our local cross country programs, which include Chatham, Dan River, Gretna, GW, and Tunstall. The attempt to start JV cross country in Danville and Pittsylvania County Middle Schools is continueing. Just show up and register on race day. The event will be timed and results posted on our website and FB page.

Directions from Downtown Danville:

1.    Head East on Rt. 58 for approximately  4.5 miles

2.    Turn left onto Ringgold Road (734)

3.    Continue on 734 for 2.1 miles (staying right at the fork)

4.    The train depot will be on your right
