Join the Danville YMCA for the annual Louie Fields 5K Run on November 5, 2011. The kids 1 mile fun run starts at 8:00 am and the 5K race starts at 9:00am. This is a fast course with a downhill finish, so if you are looking for a PR, This is your chance. The race starts in front of First Baptist Church on Main Street and runs up past Danville's Millionaires Row and into the Old West End Historic district, looping around Howeland Circle and returning to the First Baptist Church parking lot. Awards are given to Overall winners and top 3 in each age group. All who enter are invited to a free all you can eat pancake breakfast after the race.
