Fourth of July Celebration

Enjoy a day of music, children's activities, great food, beverages and a spectacular fireworks display at dusk. A must attend for the whole family! Hotdog eating contest, free entertainment, children's crafts and games, community booths, free amusement rides, food concessions, fabulous fireworks, salute to service men & women, and more.

Patriot Challenge Run Through

I am going to be doing a final walk through and course marking of the Patriot challenge course on Saturday June 25. If anyone wants to join and see the course, Meet me at Anglers Park at 9:00 am near the covered picnic area. See you there.

3rd Annual Biscuit Bolt 5K

Does running make you hungry?, If so don't miss out on the chance to run the 3rd Annual Biscuit Bolt 5K. All the fun starts on Saturday, July 16th at the Crossing at the Dan.Registration starts at 8:00am at the Pepsi building and the race begins at 9:00am.

Participants will have the dual challenge of completing a 5K while bolting down 3 delicious Biscuitville mini biscuits. Catergories include M/F run and eat, M/F Run, M/F walk and eat, M/F walk, So don't worry if you are on a diet. You will not find a more entertaing racethis summer. Don't Miss Out.

Danville Toyota Presents The River City 5K Run/Walk/1K Fun Run

Register online at https://www.raceit.com/register/?event=5539. The River City 5K starts and finishes at Angler's Park. Fun Run starts at 8:30am and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00am. The race follows an out and back flat, fast, and shady course on the on the beautiful River Walk Trail along the Dan River.

Danville Running & Fitness Club Meeting

Don't forget the Running Club meeting Tuesday night at Angler's Park. Meet at 6:00pm to get a little exercise and test the new Jaguar timing system. We need folks to run through the timing tower with chips on. The more the merrier. At 7:00pm we will have the meeting with some refreshments including sports drinks, water, and watermelon.
