Championship Series Points Banquet

02/09/2016 - 6:00pm - 7:30pm Our annual Championship Points Series Banquet will be held on Tuesday, February 9th at 6pm at Mary's Diner on Piney Forest Road. Free food, beverages and fellowship as we celebrate the accomplisments of our members from the 2015 race season. It will be or first meeting of 2016 as well.

July Meeting of the Danville Running & Fitness Club

07/29/2015 - 6:30pm - 8:30pm The meeting will be Wednesday, July 29th at 6:30pm at the Danville Regional Airport in the large conference room. Light refreshments will be served. L.C. Moore will lead a group discussion on what it takes to get faster. The discussion will cover speed work, hills, tempo runs, and more.

Light refreshments will be served and there will be a presentation and discussion on basic training principles. This will include training paces, phases, and how to write your own training plan.

Danville Running & Fitness Club Meeting

06/14/2011 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm Don't forget the Running Club meeting Tuesday night at Angler's Park. Meet at 6:00pm to get a little exercise and test the new Jaguar timing system. We need folks to run through the timing tower with chips on. The more the merrier. At 7:00pm we will have the meeting with some refreshments including sports drinks, water, and watermelon.

March Running Club Meeting

03/16/2010 - 6:30pm The March meeting of the Danville Running & Fitness Club will be March 16, 6:30pm at Lewis & Mary Dumont's house 249 West Main St. Danville Va. Food and beverage will be served. Afterwards we will be preparing the entry form mailings for the Nestle 5K and the Bridge to Bridge 5K. It will be a great time of fellowship and getting some work done for the club.
