Celebrate National Trails Day by participating in a 5K race on High Bridge 
Trail State Park. The park is a rail to trail conversion and is a wide, level 
surface with virtually no grade. The race will take place on Saturday, June 
4, 2011 and begin at 8:00 am near Main Street in Farmville. The race will 
follow an out and back course. Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall

One of my all time favorite races is back after a 2 year lay off. This is a true destination race, a terrific opportunity for a vacation in one of America's most scenic regions. Run this race, enjoy the panoramic majesty of the Great Smokey Mountains, and hit the trails and whitewater. This one is unique, and located in a stunningly beautiful location.

We are currently organizing our 3^rd Annual “It’s For the Kids 5K” fundraiser.  The 5K will be held on June 11, 2011 in uptown Martinsville. We had a very successful 5K last year and are looking forward to an even more successful event this year.
